CCP STUDY MATERIAL:- These are the Credit Professionals that get certified by the IIBF, therefore, known as Certified Credit Professionals. The dimensions of credit have gone through many changes in recent years. 

While just a few years ago, when we use to talk about credit, we usually meant Cash Credits, Overdrafts & Loans. Now, there are quasi-credit facilities like Letters f Credit-LCs, Bank Guarantees (BGs), Co acceptances, Buyer’s Credit & Supplier’s Credit are gaining predominance. 

In dealing with such products, one should possess a good knowledge of the credit products to assess the risk involved & judge the repayment capacity of the borrower to honour their liabilities. They have to check the Credit Appraisal & Risk Appraisal & when considering the appraisal aspects (domestic finance or trade finance for international trade) risk aspects are considered therein too. The course aims to enable the prospective Credit officer with the insight to make decisions in respect of the above-mentioned aspects.
