Set your space and time:
Having a place of your own where you can peacefully study is very important if you really want to understand whatever you will be reading or watching, whatever the case may be.
So, find your own corner in your home, where there are less chances of somebody disturbing you & it is quite enough to hear your own mind.
Make a schedule
Create a timetable or schedule. It might seem like you are actually back in school but believe me it will be so damn helpful when it comes to evaluate how far you have reached in the preparation of your exam.
When you follow your schedule, they also give you a sense of accomplishment which is highly effective to keep you motivated.

You can make a schedule for
How much time you are going to spend on:
- One particular module; or
- One particular chapter; or
- one particular topic.

When we say learning style, we mean to say that whether you learn better when you listen to something or when you feel something or even when you actually do it (application).

These tips are being written for bankers, who are adults and are probably more than 25 years of age i.e can understand the texts after going to once.
But at times we forget that any person, whatever his or her age may be, if does not go through it more than twice or thrice, his or her retention capacity of whatever she or he has read decreases to a great extent.
So, even though you may be able to understand your syllabus after one read, the chances are high that you might forget about the concepts as well as the minor details. Therefore, whatever your understanding level may be, you must review and revise your syllabus study material at least once if not twice.
Breaks are Essential
Continuity is important but breaks are important too. If you have the habit of studying continuously for 1-2 hours, you should think about taking 5-to-10-minute breaks in between those hours.
You will find that your ability to understand has become better – well – from whatever it has been before you had taken the break.
Now that we have mentioned that you should take breaks, it doesn’t mean that you pick up your cell phone and go through your social media in those small breaks. What you can do is take small walks around the room, go take a breather outside or go get yourself something to chew on.
Ask for help
If you are struggling at some point in your studies, you might want to take help instead of wasting your time. When we say – struggle – we mean to say that you have spent about no less than 30 minutes on the problem & still could not make a sentence of it.
At this point of time, you should realise it’s time to ask for help. Take help of lectures, notes, YouTube videos or you may call your friend & ask about the matter.
Stay motivated & hydrated
For some people, studying becomes a tedious task after they crossword their 20’s. So, it is important that if you are studying – you actually get some output from your efforts & are not spending your time just staring at the books or the study material.
The best way to keep yourself motivated is to keep in mind the reason for why you had started. Other than that, you can make up a to-do list and we assure you that accomplishing the tasks you have assigned for yourself in that to-do list feel like little accomplishments & will keep you stay motivated.
Along with motivation, you should give yourself enough water from time to time. It will keep the sleep away & have you Eyes from the dropping in the summer Heat.
App it up
In today’s scenario, there are many apps from where you can get access to the free study materials or you might also have a chance to access the study material of your exam, whether it’s JAIIB, CAIIB, bank promotion, or other IIBF certification exams via mobile applications.
If it is available, we would suggest that you take it up because at times we find ourselves with free time but due to the fact that we do not have the hard copies, we lose the opportunity to study.

Consistency is important:
It is important that when you prepare for any exam, you prepare consistently i.e do not skip your days/ schedule. Although, if you miss one or two days in a month that is okay. But if you are skipping a whole week, that is a problem.
