JAIIB QUALIFYING CRITERIA 2024

• The minimum passing mark is 50 in each of the 4 papers.
• If in a single attempt you score 45 and in each paper, aggregate should be 200.
• Credit in the passed subject can be retained till the expiry of the time limit for passing the exam.

MAY 2024 EXAM Pattern and duration of exam

• JAIIB exam 2024 will be conducted in online mode.
• 2 hours are given to complete each paper.
• Total marks are 100 and the minimum passing marks required are 50.
• 100 total no of questions will be asked.
• In the JAIIB exam there will be negative marking (1/4 of the marks) for wrong answers.

Types of questions in 2024 MAY JAIIB EXAMS

• multiple choice questions are asked over one topic as well as the MCQs could also come as case studies.

Distribution of papers in JAIIB Exams of 2024

JAIIB exam is comprised of 4 sets of papers. Here are the details below;

Paper 1 is of Indian Economy & Indian Financial System (IE&IFS) which comprises of four modules. Paper 2 is of Principles and Practice Of Banking which comprises of four modules each module has a maximum of ten units and each unit has more than 5 chapters. Paper 3 is about Accounting & Financial Management for Bankers (AFM). This paper is comprised of four modules, each module has five units and have more than 5 chapters. Paper 4 is of Retail Banking & Wealth Management (RBWM). This also comprises the same i.e. four modules with different units.

Focus during preparations

• Conceptual clarity based on descriptive material.
• The practice of concepts by way of multiple choice questions and case studies.

Example;  Z, working in a construction company in UAE. His mother is living in India. Now he wants to open a joint account with his mother for inward foreign remittance and local credits for meeting the expenditure of his mother.

1. Will not open the account
2. Will open NRE or NRO account.
3. Will open NRE account.
4. Will open NRO account.

Concept- if we want to do local credits then its only possible under NRO account also according to the question under NRO  only he has facility to remit foreign credits.
