AML KYC EXAM 2022 PROCESS

AML KYC EXAM 2022 | REGISTRATION, EXAMINATION, AND MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENT

This post contains all the details from registering to attempting the AML KYC 2022 Exam along with AML KYC Syllabus 2022. Banks have established specialised divisions to handle tasks like the credit card industry, home loans, auto loans, trade financing, consumer loans, Bancassurance, etc. Recently, some banks have offered subsidiaries to carry out these duties. There is a need for an educational programme, given the broad range of knowledge required for such operations, even if banks provide some training to their workers to convey the fundamental knowledge to handle these portfolios according to their requirements.

Healthy financial relationships between banks and other financial institutions in India today depend on their adherence to the “Know Your Customer” and “Anti-Money Laundering” requirements. The course aims to give a thorough overview of the numerous guidelines, standards, and guidance notes published by the RBI, IBA, international organisations, etc.

In this article we are going to talk about the AML KYC process, registration, examination, minimum system requirements, do’s and don’ts, debarment criteria, etc and everything there is to know about the examination process. Before moving on to the details of the AML KYC EXAM 2022 we would like to give you an overview of the subject.

The term “anti-money laundering,” or “AML,” refers to the measures that financial institutions and other businesses must take to stop criminals from depositing or transferring money obtained through illegal means. AML policies are specifically intended to stop the funding of terrorism and the proceeds of crimes like human trafficking.

Know Your Customer, or KYC refers to the procedures an organisation does to verify that its clients are who they claim to be and do not present a risk to the company. Even though AML and KYC are frequently used interchangeably, they both fall under the broad umbrella term of AML.

To identify their clients and determine the level of money laundering risk they pose, businesses can use KYC to adopt a risk-based approach to AML. Risk-based AML, a recommendation of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), calls on businesses to analyse each of their clients’ levels of risk: High-risk consumers should be subject to a more thorough AML examination, while low-risk customers may only be exposed to easier, less intrusive safeguards.

Now that we are done discussing what AML KYC is, we would like to move on with the process, registration, examination, syllabus, and all the other details you need to know before you appear for your exam.
