CCP EXAM NOTIFICATION:-

A certified Credit Professional (CCP) is a person who has the skills and creditability to handle the daily tasks relating to the credit functions in a bank. He or she has the knowledge that makes them capable to take decisions in relation to the client’s creditworthiness, loan acceptances & rejections, prediction of risks (risk appraisals), negotiating the loan terms, monitoring the payments, compliance with regulations, adherence to the credit policies, controlling the bad debt exposures, pursuing legal remedies etc. This person has been certified to work as one by IIBF through the CCP 2023 Examinations which are conducted throughout the year.

So, basically, a CCP handles almost all the elements of the loan transaction where he or she has to look over the details starting from the creditability of the applicants to sanctioning the limits and then confirming the repayments are being made on time. 

The main focus of this exam is on Existing as well as newly posted officers in the credit department, those who get identified for the credit department and those aspiring to become credit officers in banks.

IIBF conducts an examination known as ‘Certified Credit Professional’ that prepares bankers for working in the credit department of banks by giving them insight into the various dimensions of credit management.

IIBF conducts the CCP Exam on the predetermined dates that get announced on the official site of IIBF.

IIBF has announced the July Exam & Registration dates for CCP exams 2023 that will be scheduled for the upcoming CCP 2023 Exams.  They are given down below:

CCP ELIGIBILITY 2023

• Any member or non-member can write this exam. He or she just needs to have passed their 12th grade in any stream.

So, anyone desirous of working in the bank as a credit manager or credit personnel then they can write this exam.

CCP FEE STRUCTURE for 2023

You can register yourself for the CCP 2023 exam right now by paying the below-mentioned fees. It’s the same for members and non-members of the institute (IIBF):

Note: You are required to register for the exam for each and every attempt by paying the requisite fee.

And keep in mind that there is a stipulated time of 3 months that one has to go through the study period, so, register yourself keeping in mind this fact.

CCP JULY 2023 SYLLABUS

The syllabus of Certified Credit Professional has been divided into 4 modules that intend to familiarize the future CCPs with what is Credit, how to do the analysis of Financial Statements, how is working capital managed, some other credits forms & how is monitoring, supervision & follow up and management of impaired assets is done.

Note: IIBF also recommends the candidates go through the journals that are published by IIBF such as BANK QUEST & IIBF VISION to keep themselves updated along with the changes that occur in the finance & banking sector.

JULY 2023 CCP CLASSROOM TRAINING

After you pass the written exam of CCP in 2023, you will also be required to undergo a 3 days training period. You can either choose to get this training at Nil cost or at the above-mentioned fees at the physical centres.
