DIGITAL BANKING SYLLABUS 2021-2022 

Digital Banking Products:

This unit Introduces different Digital Banking Products, the Need for Digital Banking Products, Customer Education that is required for Digital Banking Products, etc.

Cards:

You will get an Overview of cards and a brief history of cards, the Various types of cards a bank provides to its customers & the Product features.

EMV technology:

This unit introduces New Technologies such as Tap and Go, NFC, etc., Approval Processes for the issue of Cards, Profitability of Cards, Back-End operations, Recovery & Follow-ups for cards.

ATMs:

You will get an Overview and Brief History of Automated Teller Machines, Product Features, Instant Money Transfer Systems, Proprietary, Brown Label, and White Label ATMs, Various Value-Added Services (e.g., bill payments, donations, etc.), ATM Network Planning such as Onsite & Offsite, Security & Surveillance of ATM Sites, Profitability of installing ATMs, Risk Management and Frauds related to ATMs, Back End Operations and Technology required for ATMs.

CASH DEPOSIT MACHINES:

This unit contains an Overview and Brief History of CRDs, Product Features of CDRs, CDM Network Planning such as Onsite or Offsite, Profitability of CDMs, Risk Management and fraud, Back End Operations and Technology required for CDMs.

CASH RE-CYCLERS:

This unit gives you an Overview of Cash Re-cyclers, Product Features of these re-cyclers, Risk Management and fraud related to them, Back End Operations & Technology related to Cash Re-cyclers.

MOBILE BANKING:

Read an Overview and Brief History of Mobile banking, Product Features & Diversity of Mobile banking, Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), Profitability of providing Mobile Banking services, Risk Management & Frauds related to mobile banking, Back End Operations, and Technology

INTERNET BANKING:

This unit let us go through the Overview and Brief History of Internet Banking, its Product Features, Corporate and Individual Internet Banking Integration with e-Commerce Merchants, etc.

POS TERMINALS:

In this unit get an Overview and Brief History, Product Features, Approval processes for POS Terminals, Profitability of POS business Risk Management and Frauds, Back End Operations and Technology

BRANCHLESS BANKING:

This unit tells us the Objectives of running branchless, its Introduction, Financial Inclusion – Logic as well as logistics, Vehicles for Financial Inclusion, Business Correspondents & Business facilitators, Digital Banking Products for Financial Inclusion, etc.

MARKETING OF DIGITAL BANKING PRODUCTS:

This unit on Marketing of Digital Banking products contains the Objectives, its Introduction, Product Planning, Structure for Marketing Digital Banking Products, Sales delivery to the customers, Concept of having e-Galleries, providing after-sales service to the customers, Dangers of Mis-selling, Marketing for Financial Inclusion, Use of analytics in the marketing of Digital Banking Products, etc.
