Application form and Important dates

 The Staff Selection Commission has released online application for the SSC GD exam 2022 on October 27 on its official website – ssc.nic.in. The last date to fill the SSC GD application form 2022 is till November 30, 2022. SSC has published a total of 24,369 vacancies. Candidates planning to apply for the (Put link here) exam can check the eligibility criteria on the given link. The SSC GD Constable 2022 online application will take two steps- Registration and Online form Submission. 

Documents required for the application form are mentioned below:

  • A Matriculation Certificate.
  • A Signature in PDF Format.
  • A Photograph in PDF format.
  • An Income Certificate.
  • A Caste Certificate if Applicable.
  • An Aadhar Card.
  • A School leaving certificate from a recognised board

 

Here is how you can apply for the exam

 

The online application fee is Rs 100 for general and OBC candidates whereas reserved category candidates are exempted. Aspirant can check their eligibility from the given link and continue to fill the application form for the exam. Follow the below mentioned steps to fill the application form:

Step i:  Visit the official website at ssc.nic.in.

Step ii: Go to the home page.

Step iii: Click on the Apply Button and then navigate to the redirected web page.

Step iv:  Clicking on the Constable GD link to open Application form.

Step v:  Fill up the required details.

Step vi:  Insert your passport photo and signature.

Step vii: Pay the application form cost online.

Step viii:  Click on the submit button to save the application details for submission and get the print out.

Important Information FOR SSC GD EXAM

The application link for the recruitment of Constable GD (CAPFs) such as the BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Rifleman (GD) at Assam Rifles, Rifles Sepoy at NCB and Rifleman (GD) at Assam Rifles Sepoy at NCB has been launched. It should be noted that constable (GD) posts in SSF and NCB are to be filled on an all-India basis, on the other hand openings in the other CAPFs on the basis of vacancies available in various States/UTs.

  • Indian citizens
  • Must have Matriculation Certificate from Recognised board

 

Selection Process

There will be four stages of recruitment process:

 Computer Based Test (CBT) 

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Medical Test

The qualifying candidates will have to appear for document verification.

Pattern for Physical Standard Test  In this stage candidates will be physically examined ( they have to meet specific requirements as mentioned in the given table) :

  • There is relaxation provided for candidates belonging to hilly areas, scheduled tribes, north-eastern states, Left Wing Extremism affected districts, Gorkha Territorial Administration. 
  • There isn’t any specific measurement required for female candidates to meet eligibility, the chest should be well developed. 
  • Weight should be proportionate as per the height( according to Body Mass Index) and medical standard for male and female.

Note: Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME) will be scheduled and concluded by CAPFs.
