In this article, we will give you the details of the syllabus that is applicable for the JAIIB MAY 2023 Exams.
IIBF JAIIB EXAM 2023
As a banker, you must have heard about the JAIIB Exam that is basically conducted for bankers and some of its benefits for passing the said Exam. Not only do you get the benefit of One Increment of 1 year in advance but also will be eligible to sit for the CAIIB afterwards which again gets you 1 increment in advance.
As anticipated, the registrations for JAIIB MAY 2023 might start in the month of April 2023). So, those who wish to get registered for the JAIIB exam should keep an eye on the IIBF to notify them of the JAIIB 2023 dates that we expect to be out by IIBF JAIIB 2023 as mentioned afore.
DB&F 2023 EXAM
It could be the case that you are not yet a banker but you are planning to get into the banking sector. So, you can opt to write for DB&F which is a Diploma in Banking and Finance that has the same syllabus as JAIIB. The benefit of clearing DB&F would be that you can get your Diploma converted into JAIIB & have one increment in your salary just on your joining!

JAIIB PPB LATEST SYLLABUS FOR MAY 2023
IIBF had issued a notification where a revised or new Syllabus for the 2023 Exams of JAIIB has been notified. Now for some candidates, it is a point of confusion as to whether they should be preparing for Junior Associates of Indian Institute of Bankers- MAY attempt as per the new syllabus 2023 or the one which was being studied previously.
It should be noted that because IIBF hasn’t confirmed the new syllabus for the JAIIB MAY attempt 2023, therefore, the syllabus that was prescribed for June JAIIB 2023 papers, the same will be applicable for the JAIIB MAY Exams 2023.
The JAIIB – Principles and Practices of Banking has been divided into 5 modules, namely:
- Indian Financial System,
- Functions of Banks,
- Banking Technology,
- Support Services- Marketing of Banking services/ Products, &
- Ethics in Bank & Financial Institutions
