IIBF DIGITAL BANKING EXAM DATE 2024

The automation of banking services that were previously provided through traditional methods is known as Digital Banking. Digitalization of banking has enabled bank’s customers to access various banking services & products via online or electronic platform. It has basically substituted the bank’s physical presence with an everlasting online presence, eliminating the need to visit a branch.

DIGITAL BANKING EXAM 2024

IIBF (Indian Institute of Banking & Finance) conducts an examination on the subject of Digital Banking. It is in the form of a certificate course that aims to provide the bankers (mostly) sound knowledge of digital banking products. Anyone can write for this exam whether he or she is a member or a non-member of the Institute.

The course is designed so as to familiarize the bankers with the relevant aspects of digital banking that can enable the bankers in delivering an improved customer service & providing guidance to the customers as and when needed.

REMOTE PROCTORED MODE:

This is one of the exams that is conducted over the internet known as remote proctored mode. This mode of exam allows the candidates to write their test using a laptop or Desktop (Other devices are not allowed) in a location of their choice. 

A system monitors the candidates through video & mic throughout the exam & through this system candidates also confirm their identity. 

DIGITAL BANKING EXAM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Eligibility: You should have cleared your 12th standard (in any discipline)

Note: Whether you are a member of the Institute or not isn’t considered.

DIGITAL BANKING EXAMINATION FEES:

Although the registrations for December 2021 attempt are now closed but still you can easily apply for the January 2024 or March 2024 Attempt as per fees given at the table below to know the fees for this examination. The fees for members & non-member vary as per the given table:

DIGITAL BANKING EXAM 2021 SYLLABUS

Digital Banking Syllabus is divided into various modules that includes Digital Banking Products, Cards, Cash Re-Cyclers, ATMs, EMV Technology, Cash Deposit Machines – CDRs, Mobile Banking, Payment Systems, Internet Banking, POS (point of sale) Terminals, Marketing of Digital Banking Products, Branchless Banking & the New Developments in the field of Digital Banking

GUIDELINES OR IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS CUT-OFF DATE:

As the field of Digital Banking is going through many rapid changes, IIBF therefore places some questions from latest developments or guidelines that are issued by the regulator(s) in relation to digital banking in the exams that might not be a part of the syllabus. 

IIBF also advises the candidates to refer to financial periodicals such as Master Circulars or Master Directions and also Institutes periodicals such as IIBF VISION & BANK QUEST that are published on its website.

And as there are far too many changes, therefore the institute has prescribed cut-off dates to keep up with the changes i.e developments & guidelines for examinations. The prescribed cut-off dates are as follows:
