WHAT ARE JAIIB AND CAIIB 2022 EXAMS?

JAIIB refers to the Junior Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance whereas CAIIB refers to the Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. These are flagship examinations which are conducted by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) for the members of the organisation two times a year i.e in May and September.

A candidate applying for CAIIB must have completed JAIIB of the Associate examination under the old syllabus.

Clearing these exams can help the candidates in refining their skills and knowledge necessary for decision making and practical application of banking processes and also improve their income & future prospects.

Due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic, this year’s May/June month exam has been postponed and is likely to be held in Aug/Sept.

• As a Clerk – One increment if you qualify for the JAIIB examination and two increments upon clearing the CAIIB examination as per the present pay scale.

• Some banks have made it mandatory to qualify for the JAIIB and CAIIB exams in order to be eligible for the fast-track promotion exam.
