The 3 Exams are conducted simultaneously with the only differentiation that remains in these IIBF Exams are their names.
So, IIBF conducts these twice in the year & candidates aspiring to get the Certifications of any of the exams, have to fulfil certain eligibility criteria & then get themselves registered for the JAIIB / DBF / SOB Exams for May 2024.
Usually, the JAIIB / DBF / SOB Exam registration dates are announced a few months before the actual Exam dates (MAY 2024), so that the candidates can decide whether they are available to write the Exams on scheduled dates or not.

JAIIB MAY 2023 EXAMS
Indian Institute of Banking and Finance had revised the syllabus of its flagship courses i.e JAIIB & DB&F. IIBF announced the revision of the syllabus of its Exams of Junior Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers & Diploma in Banking & Finance through the notification issued on 09.11.2021. IIBF posted the notification on its official website.

REVISED SYLLABUS (NEW)
As the Banking and Finance sector saw waves of changes in the last decade with technological advances, the use of alternate banking channels, increased regulatory prescriptions, and increased competition, we saw the resulting paradigm shift in the whole banking industry.

Seeing the need to update the banker in this regard, so as to discharge the current as well as relevant information, a need was felt to shift the focus of the course from basic knowledge gathering to developing and enhancing concept-based skills. To keep up with the developments and to ensure greater value addition to the IIBF flagship courses, the syllabus of JAIIB/DB&F has been restructured to make it more conceptual and contemporary.

IMPLEMENTATION OF REVISED | NEW JAIIB & DB&F SYLLABUS
The JAIIB or DB&F syllabus that is introduced under the revised scheme is for the examinations that are to be held from May 2024 onwards.
The last exams under JAIIB or DB&F as per the old syllabus (i.e present syllabus) will be held up to November 2023 after which, the exams under the old syllabus will be discontinued.
