IIBF DRA EXAM

It is a certificate course designed for debt recovery agents who have completed their 100 or 50 hours of training. It has been made compulsory by the Reserve Bank of India that recovery agents working in banks and non-banking financial companies have to undergo training & get a certificate from the institute (IIBF).

The importance of this certificate from IIBF can also be understood from the fact that the service providers who are engaged by banks or NBFCs are advised to employee only those recovery agents who have obtained training and certificate for the same from IIBF.

DRA EXAM MOCK TEST

As the exam date of this exam has been announced by IIBF, (the same can be read from the table given below), the candidates who are preparing for this exam must be looking to test their level of preparation.

DEBT RECOVERY AGENT EXAM | DRA FEES STRUCTURE 2022

The fees are the same for the first as well as the subsequent attempts & it as mentioned in the table below:

DRA 2022 ELIGIBILITY 

• • Qualification: Must have passed SSC passed or above
  • Age: On the application date of training – Candidate = 18 years of age or above 

• Training:

PROCESS TO OBTAIN DRA CERTIFICATION FROM IIBF

For obtaining the certificate in Debt Recovery Agents, a candidate has to follow the below process:

• Need to join accredited training Institute for getting the stipulated training of 100 or 50 hours, as the case may be;

• Get a Training Completion Certificate from the Training Institute;

• Apply for Debt Recovery Agents Examination of the Institute within the specified registration dates which IIBF notifies from time to time (For current dates please read the table given the below paras);

• Sit and pass the DRA Examination 2022;
• Get the certificate of passing from the IIBF.

CUT-OFF DATE FOR GUIDELINES OR IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS FOR DRA EXAMINATIONS 2022:

IIBF always recommend the candidates write various Certificate Exams of IIBF that keep them updated with the latest developments & guidelines issued by various regulators for the preparation of exams. So, as a candidate of the Certificate Examination of DRA, you are also required to keep yourself updated with the same! Because there are almost infinite regular updates & developments, IIBF provides cut-off dates up to only which you are required to keep yourself updated. The dates are given below:

Debt Recovery Agent 2022 TIME-LIMIT FOR PASSING THE DRA EXAMINATION:

After the candidates complete their training, they will have 3 attempts to clear the DRA 2022 Exam in the period of 9 months.

If candidates could not pass the DRA examination within the given time as stated above, they are required to re-enrol themselves for the DRA training & have to enrol afresh for the DRA examination 2022.

ADMIT LETTER OF EXAMINATIONS

E-mail: All the candidates who are eligible to sit for the exams & have registered for the same will get their DRA Admit letter in their Registered E-mail ID -10 days before the examination date.

Website: Candidates will also be able to download their DRA Admit letter for 2022 Exams 1 week before the exam date from the Institute’s website under the menu ‘Exam Related’.

To download and print admit letter for your DRA Exam for May & June 2022 Exams, candidates can follow the below process for the same:

• Log in using your Membership or registration no.
• Enter Profile password. In case, the candidates forget it they can click on the ‘Forgot password or Get Password’ option after entering their Registration or Membership number. 
• They will get a fresh ‘edit profile password’ on their registered email id.

Note: DRA Candidates will not be permitted to sit for the Exam without a printed copy of their admission letters along with a Membership identity card or any other Original valid photo ID card (Aadhaar/ e-Aadhar/ Employer’s card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Election voter’s card/ Passport etc.) at their examination venue.

USE OF CALCULATOR

It is usually a subject of confusion whether the candidates can use calculators or not. So, to clarify this doubt, the candidates of DRA Exams can use battery operated portable calculator with up to 8 functions i.e. for Addition, Subtraction, Division, Multiplication, Percentage, Square-root, Tax+ and Tax-, display up to 12 digits in the examination.
