In this article, explain all about the Exam passing criteria that have been prescribed by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance for the JAIIB & CAIIB Exams 2022.
Generally, what happens is that the candidates appearing for either of the exams i.e JAIIB or CAIIB remains confused about the exam passing criteria.
But you do not need to worry as we will be explaining all the minor details of the JAIIB passing criteria as well as CAIIB passing criteria for the upcoming November JAIIB & CAIIB Exams.
AM I PASS OR FAIL IN JAIIB CAIIB EXAM?
Before we explain to you whether you are pass or fail in JAIIB or CAIIB exam, in we want you to go through the passing criteria that has been described by the institute.

Latest Passing Criteria of JAIIB:
The passing criteria that have been prescribed by the IIBF for JAIIB Exams is given below:
- A minimum score of 50 out of 100 is required to pass the JAIIB subjects.
- The JAIIB Examination will also be declared completed if the candidate scores 45 marks in each subject and 50% in all subjects of the examination in one attempt.
- Until the expiration of the time limit allotted for JAIIB registration, candidates may retain credits for the subjects of JAIIB they have passed in an attempt for passing the examination as mentioned in the Time Limit to pass the JAIIB Nov Exam 2022:

JAIIB PASSING CRITERIA ACCORDING TO IIBF FOR MORE THEN ONE ATTEMPT
To understand the above text, you can simply refer to the below table:

TIME LIMIT FOR PASSING / ROLL OVER TIME FOR JAIIB EXAM THIS NOV 2022:
As per the IIBF, the following time limit has been prescribed to pass the JAIIB papers:
- There will be a time limit of two years for candidates to pass the examination (i.e four attempts in a row).
- If a candidate is unable to pass an examination within the stipulated time frame, they must re-enroll. The candidate will not receive credit for any subjects previously passed.
- There will be a 2-year limit starting from the date of application for the first time. It doesn’t matter whether a candidate appears for an examination or not.
In short, JAIIB registrants will have:

EXAMPLES – MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS:
Usually in the multiple attempts the JAIIB candidates have passed either one paper of JAIIB or two, and the one/two paper(s) are pending to be cleared. In such cases the candidates need have scored 50 or 50+ marks in which he or she has gotten credit.
& in the next attempt(s), they will need a minimum of 50 in each paper they are reattempting. i.e
For the simplicity of understanding, assume you have passed PPB with 55 marks.

LATEST PASSING CRITERIA OF CAIIB (WITH EXAMPLE)
Latest Passing Criteria of CAIIB:
The passing criteria that have been prescribed by the IIBF for CAIIB Exams, is given below:
- A minimum score of 50 out of 100 is required to pass the CAIIB subjects.
